The food is amazing! I can get whatever I want, whenever I want, delivered right to my room. It's like a dream. Usually I wake up with silver dollar pancakes, strawberries, OJ and a banana. (I did have to bring my own real maple syrup. Lunch is whole wheat spaghetti with marinara, cheesecake, cantelope and OJ. Then I have a few snacks like a string cheese, hot chocolate, banana etc. Dinner is usually pizza with a jungle green smoothie (which tastes like celery, but my mom makes me get it).
All of the awesome crafts and the whole Forever Young Playroom! I can do "Just Dance" play hospital bingo, make banners, design clothing...it helps distract me from the icky stuff. Whenever I go out of my room I have to wear a mask for my own protection from stuff other people might have.
Music Therapy. It's called Sophie's room and I can go and play the guitar, sing into the mic whatever song I can think of, dance, play the drums and tamborine...its amazing. I love it. Today I just started dancing with my tambourine.
Physical therapy is the best. I get to race all over the hospital on my bike, which you use your arms and legs to make it move. I get to jump on tramps and do all sorts of other cool games with heavy balls.
Spending time with my mom. We sleep together. Eat together. Go to all my treatments. It's the best to be together.
